Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Insurance to become a member?
No, we do not take insurance. Instead we work based off an affordable care option that provides direct access to your provider through call, text, or email.
Should I have health insurance?
Yes, absolutely, but that is not a reality for everyone. This is why direct primary care is such a great option for those who do not have insurance, because we provide care at an affordable rate. Health insurance can help cover costs with medications, bloodwork, imaging such as x-rays etc, and worst case scenario hospital admissions.
But if I have insurance, why pay for an additional service?
Because we are here for you when you need it! We won’t answer the phone and tell you that we don’t have appointments available for weeks. You won’t be sitting in a waiting room for an hour. You’ll have direct access to me, your provider and you’ll get the care you want and need, when you need it. I am truly here for you…
How long are appointments?
Typical appointments range from 30 minutes to 1 hour or anything in between. We want you to feel heard, knowing that all of your issues were addressed.
What age of patients do you see?
We see all patients ages 14 and up
How do I schedule an appointment?
Please use the contact us tab to send us an email or give us a call so that we can set up your free consultation appointment.
Do you offer small business discounts?
Yes! Absolutely! We would love to work with your small business to provide excellent care and help support the community through growth.
Do you offer Veteran discounts?
100% yes! We would not be here today if it wasn’t for my father. Please see the pricing page.
How much does it cost?
Roots Wellness operates off a monthly membership which includes unlimited visits. I am here for you. Information regarding pricing can be found on the pricing tab.
Do you draw blood in office?
Yes. Blood can be drawn in office, provided at cost through Quest Diagnostics. We are currently working with Quest to finalize the contract. If you have insurance and would like to use a different lab then just let me know and I will write an order for your bloodwork.
What if I want to cancel?
Although we would hate to see you leave, we understand that healthcare needs can change. If you need to cancel, a 30-day notice is required.
